Print Machine was founded on the idea that a branding shop should be helpful and honest and willing to go the extra mile to ensure clients receive products they’re proud of. Since 2009, they have grown into a business with two locations, a hard-working crew and thousands of satisfied customers in the arts, business, education, health care and government sectors. Their focus is on one-of-a-kind customer service, quality and workmanship offering custom branded apparel, promotional products and large format printing.
The impacts of the pandemic have been felt deeply throughout the small business community in Edmonton, and Print Machine wanted to find a way to help in their own unique way. They came up with the idea to produce branded shirts with participating businesses ' logos paired with the Here For Good campaign branding.
The idea behind the Here For Good t-shirt campaign really came from trying to figure out ways to not only help our business survive during the pandemic but also to support other local businesses. We figured by combining our apparel decorating know-how and the ability of Edmonton's thousands of Small Businesses to reach their loyal customers that we could offer branded t-shirts as a way for people to show their support for small businesses and for those small businesses that were experiencing closures or business alterations, it gave them an opportunity to try and generate some revenue.
It started out relatively slowly, but as word got out and the campaign got some media attention, it really took off! We launched the campaign on March 31, and as of today's date, we have sold just over 2500 shirts through the campaign.
